Where I focus my clinical work.
I have training and clinical experience working with individual and couples working through:
approach
Direct. Grounded. Integrative.
I tailor therapy to each client’s unique experiences, drawing from evidence-based approaches that support healing, resilience, and meaningful change. My work is grounded in understanding the connection between trauma, relationships, sexuality, and emotional well-being.
Whether we’re addressing trauma, intimacy concerns, or relationship challenges, my goal is to create a collaborative space where clients feel supported while developing practical tools for lasting progress.
EMDR Therapy
Reduce the lasting impact of trauma by helping the brain reprocess difficult experiences.
Sex Therapy
Support healthier intimacy, communication, and connection through specialized care.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Develop skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships.
Somatic Resourcing
Increase awareness of the mind-body connection to promote healing and resilience.
Education & Background
Training and clinical experience.
I received my MSW and MEd in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University in 2017, then continued on to earn my PhD in Human Sexuality Studies — focusing on men’s sexual victimization experiences. I began my clinical career working with adolescents and their families in a residential setting, supporting young people and families navigating mental health concerns and regaining custody through the court system.
I went on to work in outpatient settings with adults, couples, and adolescents, where I gained experience supporting clients with alternative lifestyles and sexual concerns. I’m trained in EMDR and currently working toward certification through EMDRIA.
About
Helping individuals and couples heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Pennsylvania and Connecticut, who graduated from Widener University with a Master’s of Social Work and a PhD in Human Sexuality. During my doctoral studies I focused on men’s sexual victimization experiences. I began my clinical career working with adolescents and their families in a residential setting, supporting young people and families navigating mental health concerns and regaining custody through the court system.
I work with individuals and couples facing the following issues: anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship distress, and sexual concerns — including pelvic/sexual pain, performance anxiety, low sexual desire, low sexual self-esteem, difficulties with orgasm, and wanting to explore alternative lifestyles. I believe in the value of creating a strong therapeutic relationship through consistent support and acceptance, and I provide an affirming space for all sexual and gender identities.
